If you’re reading this message, chances are you’re thinking, “Oh, great. Here is another one of Craig’s messages about the Coldwell Banker® brand being No. 1. Again.”

What I bet you didn’t expect me to say is that as a luxury real estate leader, we’re always looking to continually improve our business, sharpen our skills and evolve as representatives of the world’s finest real estate! True leadership means you must be willing to learn, change and progress. In fact, I would argue that our belief in continuous improvement has helped us maintain our top-level status over the course of our brand’s entire 113-year history. Continuous improvement is not a bug; it’s a feature.

One of the ways we seek out continuous improvement for our elite Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® program is by sponsoring and attending premier industry events throughout the year. Of course, these events are fun for us, as they present opportunities to interface and network with other luxury real estate influencers all over the world. But they also allow us an invaluable chance to learn new information, study the latest trends and improve the luxury real estate experience for both our clients and agents, too. In my role, I attend many of these industry events, ensuring that I stay informed, connected and at the top of my game too.

We have already sponsored several major industry events this year. With about four months left to go, here are the events we are looking forward to in 2019:

NAHREP National Convention at L’ATTITUDE
September 26-29, 2019
San Diego, CA

The National Convention is the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ (NAHREP) marquee event of the year. The convention brings top-producing Hispanic real estate professionals from all over the United States, industry experts and corporate executives to convene for four days of education, networking and entertainment. This year’s event is expected to be the largest ever, attracting 10,000 professionals across a variety of industries with expertise in real estate, technology, education and the arts. The numbers are staggering.

October 1-3, 2019
Palm Springs, CA

The National Association of Lesbian & Gay Real Estate Professionals’ NAGLREP 2019 unites over 700 LGBT and allied industry leaders for three days of learning and networking with the best in the business. Coldwell Banker is sponsoring the final day with a full house for a lunch. We are taking charge of the stage that day to showcase our commitment and real estate talent. This year, I am proud to be moderating a panel of five agents who will talk about being authentic in their business and how Coldwell Banker supports them.

Inman Luxury Connect
October 16-17, 2019
Beverly Hills, CA

Luxury Connect is one of the industry’s largest gatherings of luxury agents and brokers. Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC sponsors this event each year. This year, we will be presenting our highly anticipated upcoming report on “Millennials and Wealth,” and we will take the stage for a fireside chat with one of the top agents in the United States.

Leaders in Luxury
October 27-29, 2019
Palm Beach, FL

Leaders in Luxury is the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s annual gathering of the top producers from all real estate brands. Only those with proven sales records, based on closed production of $1 million+ properties, are invited to attend. This event is one of the best industry events available in the country, since it’s not brand-specific. Attendees can network and learn from the very top producers across real estate.

2019 AREAA National Convention
October 17-19, 2019
Boston, MA

The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is a nonprofit professional trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities for people who are Asian American or Pacific Islander (AAPI). We sponsor the Global Luxury Summit each year and maintain a strong presence to keep our brand in front of this community. Agents come from all over the world for this special event. Delegations from China and Japan are also going to be joining us this year.

Craig Hogan is the vice president of luxury for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and a 20-year real estate veteran. When he is not traveling or offering his insights on high-end real estate trends, he spends time in Chicago, where he enjoys walking his rescue dog Cooper along the lakefront, collecting wine and satisfying his real estate “addiction” with a luxe open house tour or two.
