In Jennifer Ames’ worldview, it is quite possible to have a love affair with a city. Her passion for Chicago runs deep: the people, the parks, the ethnic restaurants and the museums (the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry are her favorites). The city is brimming with romance for her—from the awe-inspiring views of the city’s downtown skyline to the Signature Room at the 95th and the historic, palatial townhomes she represents throughout the city. It’s a place where she met and married her husband, raised children and started a career as a real estate agent 19 years ago, following in the real estate footsteps of her great-great-grandfather, Nathaniel Fairbank and step-grandfather, Louis C. Sudler, Sr.
For February, Previews Inside Out felt it was only fitting to cover one of America’s most beloved cities with a luxury specialist who knows it well.
