Power of the Personal

October has been a busy month for the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® program. We just released two of our most powerful marketing resources of the year: the Homes & Estates international edition and “A Look at Wealth 2021: Real Estate’s New Power Players,” our annual review of wealth trends with data partners WealthEngine, Wealth-X and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. The fall 2021 edition of Homes & Estates is a testament to luxury’s evolution, as our affluent clients continue to reassess their values and redefine their notions of what “living well” means in a pandemic age. While luxury residential inventory remains tight across many markets, the extraordinary listings we’ve chosen to highlight in our final issue of 2021 pay homage to the evolving picture of luxury living. “A Look at Wealth” offers a statistical view of this same phenomenon, exploring the explosive growth of real estate wealth from 2019 to 2021 and the power groups driving the unprecedented luxury housing demand we’ve seen over the past 18 months. These flagship pieces — both the report and the magazine — give Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialists modern visibility into the issues impacting their clients today. We encourage Luxury Property Specialists to use these rich content sources as conversation pieces — and points of connection — with clients. October has also been a month of renewed connection for the Global Luxury program. I just returned from two important in-person events: the Fall 2021 International Luxury Alliance (ILA) Summit in Park City and GenBlue in New York City. At GenBlue, I moderated two panels – one with The Jills and another with Jade Mills, Frank Isoldi and Jen Cameron. The content of our talk was enlightening and thought-provoking, of course, but the face-to-face interactions between the agents were especially indispensable. I am still buzzing with excitement from GenBlue, after hearing M. Ryan Gorman, Liz Gehringer, David Marine and others speak! The value of real estate’s best and brightest getting together — learning from each other, sharing professional insights and feeding off everyone’s positive energy in the same room — cannot be overstated. As much as we all quickly rallied around Zoom and other virtual platforms for conducting business over the last 18 months, I’ve realized one essential truth: Building and keeping relationships takes a personal touch. With the end of 2021 so near, I’m looking forward to 2022 being the year of in-person events and connections! Here’s to being together again in the days and months to come.
