Making New Opportunities

Editor's Note

If the past three years have shown us anything, it’s that resilience and innovation are the keys to staying ahead in this fast-changing luxury real estate world. Whether it’s surviving a pandemic, working through an unprecedented homebuying boom, or staying nimble in a transitioning market, the Coldwell Banker® brand always keeps moving forward.

Before we all head off for our holiday vacations and say goodbye to 2022, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate all of the ways we have kept moving forward this year.

We started off 2022 by releasing our revamped “The Report,” which was one of our most widely shared and covered reports in the media.

Then there was the hotly anticipated redesign of Homes & Estates magazine in the spring, which was refreshed to be in line with today’s fashion and lifestyle magazines. After releasing four issues this year, we are still getting rave reviews on the editorial look and feel of the magazine to this day!  In June, we followed up the magazine launch with our first Engage summit, which brought nearly 400 Luxury Property Specialists, executives, and leaders from ten countries and 30 U.S. states to Los Angeles for three days of learning, sharing, and networking. The event was a raging success, with attendees gaining big ideas for elevating their businesses.

Then in October, we kept our forward momentum with the launch of “The Trend Report,” a brand-new companion piece to The Report. The Trend Report uncovered the major trends guiding the luxury real estate market now and in the future using curated insights from an exclusive survey, the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Wealth-X, and top industry experts.

I mention these milestones and successes for the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury®  program because I want to remind all of you that we are always looking ahead to find new opportunities for agents and clients. But more importantly, we are always looking to make opportunities, in good times and in more challenging times. After succeeding in real estate for over a century and leading in luxury since 1933, Coldwell Banker simply moves forward.

To a New Year and new opportunities.

May your holidays be merry and bright – just like the North Star.
