Notice to VIP globetrotters: a new Boeing Private Business Jet has hit the open skies!

Boeing Business Jets recently announced the launch of the BBJ 777X, a new aircraft that can fly more than halfway around the globe. It’s more than any business jet to date. “BBJ 777X is the fastest-flying aircraft on the market,” said Boeing’s team. This new aircraft will connect virtually any city around the world.

“Our most discerning customers want to travel with the highest level of comfort, maximum space, and a non-stop destination. The new BBJ 777X will be able to meet these requirements like no other aircraft before, redefining the concept of VIP travel over very long distances, “said Boeing Business Jets President Greg Laxton at the bi-annual event. Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).

The idea for the new private jet concept is to  “redefine ultra-long-range VIP travel,” added Laxton.

Customers of the new aircraft will have the choice between two models: the BBJ 777-8 and the BBJ 777-9. The BBJ 777-8 has the longest range (21,570 km). It has a spacious cabin of 302.5 square meters. For its part, the BBJ 777-9 combines an even larger cabin (342.7 square meters) and a range of 20,370 km. This variant also benefits from virtually unlimited interior design options. To demonstrate the versatility inherent in the spacious cabin of this aircraft, BBJ has unveiled the interior concepts made by three major design agencies: Greenpoint Technologies, Jet Aviation and Unique Aircraft Design. The concepts blend modern and classic elements together.

The company has not sold any of the planes as of yet. Other business jets produced by Boeing include the BBJ MAX and high-performance versions of its 787 Dreamliner. Since forming in 1996, Boeing Business Jets has delivered 234 jets on 261 orders. All Boeing Business Jets have bedrooms, bathrooms with showers, dining and meeting rooms, and extensive lounges.
