The wheels-to-walls partnership began three years ago in North Cyprus, when Aylin Pelin Onar of Coldwell Banker Maximum (a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Ambassador) was hosting a successful open house event for nine villas she was selling in Kyrenia, North Cyprus. After she made a Facebook Live video, a local Jaguar dealer “called me and expressed an interest in bringing their luxury cars to the event place,” she said. “They explained that they have had great success with high-end properties, and they wanted to build a partnership together to reach affluent clients. We all saw it as an opportunity to not only sell our luxury properties but to also sell their luxury cars.”
A team promptly delivered three new Range Rover vehicles to show at the private event. “Coldwell Banker Maximum sold all nine villas,” said Onar. “The following week we had signed a partnership contract and they have since provided Jaguar cars for our company.”
The sponsorship allowed Coldwell Banker Maximum to brand their logos on the cars, which the agents often use to shuttle clients from showing to showing. As part of the VIP agreement, Coldwell Banker clients could receive: 1) special discounts for Range Rover and Jaguar cars through the dealer; 2) a two-day driving experience with any Range Rover and Jaguar car of their choice; and 3) a special discount for Turkish home buyers who are able to exchange their cars with Range Rover and Jaguar from North Cyprus who buy property from the Coldwell Banker Maximum office.
