There is no more famous ZIP code than 90210. The five-digit combination instantly conjures up gilded images of palm tree-lined boulevards, luxury mansions, chic art galleries and wealthy, attractive people enjoying everything from champagne brunches to world-class shopping on Rodeo Drive.

Roxy Sowlaty, a Beverly Hills-based interior designer and star of E!’s “Rich Kids,” represents the next generation of Beverly Hills: young, rich, beautiful, stylish and fiercely entrepreneurial. No doubt, the 20-something Beverly Hills native finds plenty of cultural stimulation in and around the city to keep her mind moving and creativity flowing. “I can’t say enough wonderful things about this city. Not only is it so beautiful, eternally 75 degrees and full of opportunity, but it is also extremely inspiring, as it is a city built on the creativity of the entertainment and art worlds.”

We caught up with Sowlaty and asked her to share some of her favorite local haute spots for everything from luxe home furnishings to pieces for the garden.

Modern Rugs LA629 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069

“My go-to place for rugs! They have a huge selection of styles and price ranges that can make any client/shopper happy. The owner is a doll and so easygoing. Buying a rug can be difficult, and it takes time to know if a rug works or not. The owner, Sasha, is so kind, he allows clients to use the rug for a week to test it out to make sure it’s the right purchase, and I appreciate that tremendously!”

Liz’s Antique Hardware453 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036

“I love going to Liz’s to get inspired or to buy cool hardware when redoing kitchens, baths or an old furniture piece. She has the best selection of new hardware and the most vast selection of vintage gems. It’s my heaven!”

Twentieth7470 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036

“Twentieth is the coolest store in Los Angeles. Their curated selection of furniture, art and sculptures is like none other. They have the most beautiful, edgy pieces. This place is definitely somewhere you need a dream budget for, but it is my favorite place to walk in and get inspired.”

Rolling Greens7505 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036

“This place is a secret magical garden. It is floral heaven. I love going to Rolling Greens to make arrangements for clients and to pick up great accessories!”

AVF Home300 N. Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90048

“I am definitely a Lucite lover, and AVF Home makes Lucite dreams come true! They have Lucite trays, ashtrays, tables and anything else imaginable in every color of Lucite. It is a go-to stop whenever accessorizing any space I’m working on. I am a huge fan of their decorative ashtrays!”

Alexander – 319 S. Robertson Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90048

“This furniture store is a gem. They have the most amazing brass, marble and upholstery. They are becoming my go-to for most of my projects these days!”

Zinqué8684 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood, CA 90048

“This is my favorite café for a quick lunch in between clients and furniture shopping.”

Madeo – 8897 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90048

“My favorite Italian restaurant for dinner!”
