I want to officially welcome everyone to 2018! It’s hard to believe that we have put 2017 behind us — one of the most momentous years ever in the history of the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® program. How in the world do we top the year in which we brought a whole new luxury identity and enhanced certification program to over 3,000 Coldwell Banker® offices worldwide? Since we are a brand that always looks toward the future and never rests on our laurels, I can tell you that we are aiming to make a bigger, better and bolder imprint on the luxury space than ever!

We already kicked off the year with a splash. The new issue of Homes & Estates, an exclusive supplement of The Wall Street Journal, will hit 10 of the most affluent ZIP codes in the U.S. starting Jan. 26, 2018. This special edition is nothing short of “wow.” It hits you immediately with the slick beauty of our cover property, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at Napa Valley, a gorgeous property that marks the luxury brand’s landmark debut in the Napa Valley region. Two other stories inside the magazine should also inspire excitement: an exclusive interview with the revered AD100 designer Vicente Wolf and a sneak preview of our long-awaited 2018 Luxury Market Report, now called “The Report.”

Our release is just a few weeks away now, and we have so many surprises in store for you in this revamped report, thanks to our collaboration with some of the most respected names in the business: The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Wealth-X, Unique Homes and others. It collects a rare combination of monthly data from the MLS, reported property listings and sales around the world, affluent demographic statistics, surveys and other meaningful market indicators, all in one convenient place. I can’t wait to officially unveil it to you!

The new Global Marketing campaign for Coldwell Banker Global Luxury is another example of a tool that has become bigger and better than ever. It shows everyone that Global Luxury Property Specialists are truly everywhere, and there is only one place you need to go to create the most exceptional marketing plans for the world’s most exceptional properties. Speaking of being everywhere — the Coldwell Banker team just returned from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas — and boy, do they have some exciting new trends and luxury smart home products to share with us!

Clearly, we have a very exciting year ahead of us. As I mentioned earlier, we are coming off one of our most memorable years yet. If you’re wondering how much momentum we have built for 2018, just take a look at this fun video our social media team produced.
